EKN Holdings, LLC was founded in 2016 to provide alternatives to underserved segments of the oil & gas upstream sector - small operators and mineral owners.

Through extensive outreach efforts and creative partnership structures, EKN now owns interests in over 700 oil & gas wells throughout the Lower 48, stretching from California to West Virginia and is a member of the National Stripper Well Association. 

We actively partner with energy producers in the Illinois Basin, Appalachian Basin, and the Mid-Continent Basin to reinvigorate declining production and transform what some owners see as a liability into a cash-flow positive asset. Our expert geologists, geophysicists, and engineers review and provide solutions for reworking projects that EKN finances and  implements with the operator or its preferred contractor. During operations EKN strives to utilize local experts and service personnel to reinvigorate the local communities in areas that have been hardest hit by wave after wave of economic setbacks. In addition to this, EKN strives to provide a portion of its profits to the local areas in which it works.
